This voltage regulator (or voltage stabilizer) is a device which uses a continuously variable autotransformer to maintain an AC output that is as close to the standard local voltage (or expected/desired voltage) as possible, where the actual voltage supplied by the electrical infrastructure is unstable and fluctuates to the point of interfering with the normal operation of electrical devices. This voltage regulator uses a servo motor to control the position of the tap of the transformer. An increase in the supplied voltage causes tap to reduce the output accordingly, or vise-versa, effectively stabilizing (regulating) the actual voltage being output to the device.
PowerBright SVC2000W AC Voltage Regulator Features:
- Fully automatic servo motor-type AC voltage regulator, 2000 watts
- This unit is usually used in countries where the voltage in unstable and fluctuates
- This voltage regulator will stabilize a voltage fluctuation between 50v-130v or 160v-245v (+/- 4%)
